U.S. Ski Team member Marco Sullivan climbs to the start of the Super G course on the Narrow Gauge Trail at Sugarloaf in Carrabassett Valley on Tuesday. The four-time Olympian will compete during Wednesday’s Super G on the first day of the Nature Valley 2015 U.S. Alpine Championships. Athletes were allowed to “free ski” the course on Tuesday. “This allows them to get a feel for the hill,” said start referee Bear Bryant of Bethel.
